What happens after a deletion request

After receiving a valid request, we will:

  1. Acknowledge the request;
  2. Take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity;
  3. Identify the relevant information held by us;
  4. Delete or anonymise eligible information from active systems;
  5. Confirm completion or explain why certain information must be retained.

We will process verified requests within the period required by applicable law. Where no specific period applies, we aim to respond within 30 days.

We may retain limited information where necessary to:

Information stored in system backups may remain until the backup is overwritten through the ordinary backup cycle. Such information will not be restored for ordinary business use after a valid deletion request unless required for security, disaster recovery or legal compliance.

Deleting information held by Belims Pet Products does not automatically delete information held independently by WhatsApp, Meta, banks, payment providers, couriers or other third parties. You may need to contact those organisations separately regarding information they control.

Our products and services are intended for businesses and adults capable of entering into transactions.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children below the age at which they may independently provide valid consent under applicable law.
